System description (KerAion Quadro)
The system Quadro is characterized by special Quadro fastening points sinter-fused on the reverse side of the ceramic facade panels. They serve for the invisible connection of the facade panels to the substructure. This Quadro fastening is a ceramic composite element with an integral stainless steel screw, which is sinterfused on the reverse side of the facade panel in a special firing process.
The stainless steel screw with a self-locking stainless steel nut permits the precise connection of the facade panel to the substructure, and its exact subsequent adjustment. The result is a particularly uniform joint structure. The grid sizes of 60 x 60 cm and 60 x 90 cm are fixed on the aluminium substructure by means of clasps. Larger panels up to the size of 120 x 120 cm are safely fixed by means of continuous bearing profiles.
System description (KerAion K8)
The KerAion facade panels are safely fixed on the substructure by means of the stainless steel clamps of the clamp system K8. To prevent clattering and constraining forces in the case of alternating wind loads, the facade panels are installed on the substructure in a nonrigid way.
The different clamp variations can be supplied in bright stainless steel or – matched to the panel design – also completely or partially powder-coated according to your wishes. For the nonrigid installation of our KerAion panels we recommend our foamed pieces, art. no. 347, or so-called MS polymers.
