Birmingham: Past, Present and Future

EH Smith and the RIBA West Midlands, with the help of brick manufacturer Wienerberger, hosted one of the largest Architectural events in the UK this year. Project Focus

Each month we will select a case study using our materials to showcase. This month is is the Warwick Digital Library was opened by Prime Minister Gordon Brown in July 2008. The first 'BREEAM Excellent' rated scheme in Warwickshire, it is the new home of the world class Warwick Manufacturing Group and is the brainchild of Lord Kumar Bhattacharyya.

Our Hydrotect Self Cleaning Ceramic Rainscreen system. Hydrotect , which comes as standard on our Agrob Buchtal range , is a revolutionary system that gives the tiles a hydrophillic surface. The rainwater then stays close to the surface of the tile and washes off any dirt (even oils, greases, moss and algae) Please see our Hydrotect page for more information.
